How to Allocate Tickets Manually To Special Guests
If your events have special guests who don't require to purchase tickets traditionally through the ticketing system, you can use HOST's ticketing system for allocating the tickets manually to each special guest.
Here is how you can do it:
Login to HOST Admin Panel and click on Registration >> Tickets >> Sales Report
Click on New Order
This opens the Create Order form. Under Buyer Details, enter the guest's Full Name and Email — these are the only required fields. You can optionally add a VAT/GST number, company, address and notes.
Under Product Details, click the item field and select the ticket you want to allocate, then set the Quantity. The price and amount populate automatically — free tickets show 0.00. Use + Add New Product to allocate more than one ticket type in the same order.
Click Create Order & Mark Confirm to place the order and mark it paid (use Create Order & Mark Pending or Create Order for a different status), then confirm in the dialog.
The allocated order now appears in the Sales Report. Click the order to view its invoice and order details.
Once the order is created by the Admin, the allocated guest can access the event app with their ticket.
