HOST supports two methods for checking in attendees: QR code scanning via the kiosk or mobile app, and manual check-in through the session check-in interface in the admin panel. Check-ins can be recorded at the event level (general entry) or at the individual session level.
Use this when you need to check an attendee into a specific session directly from the admin panel. Go to Manage Attendees under People and click on Manage Checkins on the attendee profile. The attendee’s check-in time is recorded and reflected immediately in the check-in dashboard.

Attendees present their unique QR code (from the HOST app or printed badge) at a scanning station. Each QR code is unique to the attendee and auto-populates their name, ticket type, and photo on the check-in screen.

After an attendee is checked in, their check-in time is recorded, their status is updated in the system, the change is reflected immediately in the Check-In Dashboard, and their badge may be printed automatically if enabled.
