Ideally an event user will be added through ticket or registration. So, the user profile details form will be filled by the user themselves thereby automatically assigning the access permissions. If, however, you need to add any user manually, you can do so through these steps.
Login to HOST Admin Panel and click on People>>Manage Attendees and click on the Add User button. The Add User pop-up window will appear.
In the first tab, Basic Details, fill in the following: - The First Name and Last Name. - The User Profile Photo (recommended size 200px wide x 200px tall) and the User Cover Photo (recommended size 700px wide x 366px tall). - The Email ID the attendee will use to log in to the apps. - The User Primary Group for the attendee. - User's Other Groups (optional) - if the attendee holds multiple roles in the event (for eg: Sponsor along with VIP Guest), assign the secondary roles here. Click the Add New button to create a new group on the fly. - Registration Status (Confirmed, Waitlist or Inactive), with options to send a welcome message and to mark the attendee as an Invisible User. - External Qr and Add Concierge details, if applicable.
Once the basic details are filled in, click Save.
You can capture more information about the attendee from the second tab - Additional.
Here you can record the attendee's consent settings and company information, as set from the checkout form.
Under GDPR, select Networking/GDPR Consent - when checked, this enables the attendee to share their profile and connect with other users - and accept the Terms & Conditions.
Under Company Name, add the attendee’s Company and Designation.
Once you have added all necessary details, click on Save to save the information.
ℹ️ The Additional tab fields are fully customizable from the form under the Registration >> Registration Forms >> User Group Forms
The third tab is Permissions, where you can associate the attendee with an Exhibitor - search and select the exhibitor they belong to, if any.
ℹ️ A user can be associated with one Exhibitor.
The fourth tab is Files, where you can upload private documents for the attendee which are visible only to the attendee on their own profile in the app/web.
