🚀 Beta Preview: This feature is currently in Beta Preview and is available to Ultimate plan customers only.
The HOST AI Agent (MCP) is not a regular chatbot. Most chat tools are designed to answer questions — they explain features, describe steps, or point you to the right menu. The HOST AI Agent goes far beyond that.
This is a true AI Agent: it connects directly and securely to your live HOST account and takes action on your behalf. It doesn’t just tell you what to do — it does it for you, in real time, right now.
💡 What does MCP mean? MCP stands for Model Context Protocol — an open standard that lets AI platforms connect securely to live tools and services. The HOST Agent uses this to give AI assistants direct, real-time access to your event data and the ability to act on it.
The HOST AI Agent works inside any MCP-compatible AI platform. You can use it today in:
To connect the HOST AI Agent to your AI platform, you will need this MCP Server URL:
https://amcp.hostlife.io/api/v2/mcp
Paste this URL into your AI platform’s integration or connected apps settings, authenticate with your HOST credentials, and you’re ready to go.
đź’ˇ Tip: For full step-by-step instructions on setting up in Claude and ChatGPT, see the dedicated guide: How to Connect the HOST AI Agent (MCP) to ChatGPT and Claude.
Once connected, tell the agent which event you want to work on and it will lock in to that event for your entire session.
💡 Tip: Always start every session by saying "Switch to [Event Name]" — especially important when you manage multiple events. Every action from that point will apply to the right event.
When you ask the AI Agent to upload an image — replacing a sponsor logo, adding a speaker photo, setting an event banner, uploading attendee profile pictures, and so on — the agent streams the file from its secure sandbox environment directly to HOST's storage. For this to work, your AI platform must allow outbound network requests to HOST's domain.
One-time setup: add *.hostlife.io to your AI platform's allowed-domains list.
In Claude (claude.ai):
*.hostlife.io to the list and save.In ChatGPT or other MCP clients: Refer to your platform's documentation for adding allowed domains in the sandbox/code-execution network settings, and add *.hostlife.io there.
💡 Tip: If an image upload fails with a network error or a “domain blocked” message, this is almost always the cause. Whitelist *.hostlife.io once and retry — there’s no need to reconnect the MCP server.
The HOST AI Agent (MCP) covers the entire platform:
💡 Tip: You don’t need technical language. Speak naturally: "Show me everyone who hasn’t checked in yet" or "Create an early bird ticket at $199" — the agent understands plain English and just gets it done.
